Business without a doubt has it's own language.  The better you speak it, the easier it is to do business.  We've all experienced being on the outside of a conversation for lack of vocabulary, or using a word completely incorrectly and showing our depth on a subject.  If you're in a foreign country and don't speak the language it can be difficult.  Some locals will make the effort to speak with you, some won't. Behind that annoyed look is probably the thought, "What's the matter, don't you speak business?"

In this glossary we not only bring to you the vocabulary of general business, we bring you all the local dialects as well.  Areas such as:

Although this glossary is already quite extensive, for us it's an on-going labor of love.  The business world is anything but stagnant, and it's the same for it's vocabulary.
